A BakkesMod alternative that works with Easy Anti-Cheat on.

RLCompanion runs next to Rocket League, not inside it, and reads the official Stats API, so you can keep queueing ranked with Easy Anti-Cheat enabled. It shows everyone's rank as soon as the match is found, plus your session stats and music controls. Free for Windows and Linux.

Lobby

Shows the rank, division and MMR of every player in your match as soon as the match is found. Names hidden by cross-platform settings are shown in full, avatars load from Steam, PlayStation and Xbox, and players you have met before are marked with your record against them, for example Ally 4-1 or Rival 2-3.

Session

Tracks your record, win rate, streak and per-game averages since you opened the app, with an MMR graph for each ranked playlist. Finished matches are saved to your match history with the score, the players and their stats.

Music

Play, pause and skip tracks in Spotify, your browser or any other player that shows up in your system's media controls. If you want, it pauses the music during goal replays or the podium and starts it again afterwards. Music you paused yourself stays paused.

Overlay

The window can stay on top of the game. It can open by itself when a match is found or at kickoff and hide again afterwards, without taking focus away from Rocket League. You can also hold a key or a controller button to show it.

Other features

Discord

Shows your playlist, your rank and whether you're winning on your Discord profile, with an optional button to your tracker.gg page.

Auto-save replays

Presses your Save replay key at kickoff and confirms the save when the match ends, so online matches are saved without you doing anything.

Goal speeds

Shows the ball speed and your release speed when you score or hit the crossbar.

Controller overlay

A small window that shows your controller inputs, including analog triggers.

Item swapper Use with EAC off

Makes one cosmetic look like another on your screen by changing that item's file in the game folder. You can undo it at any time.

Why EAC off: this changes a file in the game folder, and Psyonix hasn't said whether changed game files are allowed with Easy Anti-Cheat on. More in the FAQ.

Custom maps Use with EAC off

Import maps or download them from bakkesplugins.com and play them in Free Play. The map replaces the Underpass file in the game folder until you restore it.

Performance

The window only redraws when something on it changes, and not at all while minimised. Each feature can be switched off, and a feature that is off does no work.

Finds your game

Detects Steam, Epic, Heroic, Lutris, Bottles and Proton installs and turns on the Stats API for you.

FAQ

Does it work with Easy Anti-Cheat on?

Yes. RLCompanion is a separate app. It reads the official Stats API that Rocket League provides for tools like this, and it does not inject into the game or change it while it runs. The only exceptions are the item swapper and custom maps, which change files in the game folder (see below).

Can it get me banned?

RLCompanion does not read or write the game's memory and does not inject code. Live match data comes from the Stats API, which is switched on in a settings file of the game. The replay saver presses your Save replay key the same way a keyboard does. Ranks are looked up through our own API, so the app itself does not talk to Rocket League's servers.

We can't speak for Psyonix or Epic Games, and no third-party tool can promise you won't be banned. If you want to keep it simple, don't use the item swapper or custom maps when you play online. RLCompanion is a fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Psyonix or Epic Games.

Which features need EAC off?

The item swapper and custom maps. Both work by replacing files in the game folder. Psyonix says mods don't run with Easy Anti-Cheat on, but hasn't said anything about replaced cosmetic or map files, so we recommend using these two only when you start the game with Easy Anti-Cheat off, and restoring the original files in the Tools tab before you play online. On Steam you choose at launch; on Epic you add -noeac to the launch options.

Everything else works with Easy Anti-Cheat on.

Where do the ranks come from?

From our own API at api.rlcompanion.pro. To answer a lookup, it asks Rocket League's servers for the player's ranks, and Steam, Xbox or PlayStation for their avatar. Results are cached in memory for a short time (ranks for two minutes, names and avatars for a few hours), and the API keeps a count of requests per IP address in memory for rate limiting. Nothing about your requests is written to disk, and all of it is gone when the API restarts.
